Larry Ferster

Larry, throughout his diverse and dynamic career always kept his focus on teaching and encouraging people to achieve their personal best within a synergistic team environment.

Larry co-founded the Institute for Ethical Leadership. The mandate being to foster an attitude, where sound ethical principles, valued human capital, heightened social values and environmental audits became the primary drivers of a collective decision process within business, families and communities.

A graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology in the School of Business, Larry has helped hundreds of sales people achieve their individual best performances and proven himself an effective and respected guide/mentor to many. From a highly successful sales career to the demands of a Vice President with a leading Canadian Corporation, Larry developed and capitalized on his strengths in the critical areas of marketing, process innovation, organizational leadership and quality/productivity improvement systems.

Today, as a successful entrepreneur as well as the Chairman of ALIGN, Larry takes his enviable personal style to organizations around the world.

Gene Cheng

Gene’s involvement with Corporate Learning began over 20 years ago.

A dynamic Facilitator and Coach, Gene learned and nurtured his unique approach and style while working for companies such as Fairfax Industries, Coldwell Banker, Royal LePage and Fairchild Group. The success he achieved while working for these companies in management and executive roles had Gene being a featured personality in newspapers, magazines and television.

In addition to his work duties, Gene hosted several radio talk-show programs in Toronto and Vancouver. This experience added a new dimension to his training and facilitation skills.

After residing in North America for over twenty-five years (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Los Angeles), Gene returned to his native Hong Kong in 2000.

Gene believes in growing and living responsibly and actively participates in organizations dedicated to ethical causes.

Currently, he is working on a personal foundation and development book “Aligning Me” as well as co-writing a book on enterprise management “Aligning My Enterprise”.

Laurel von Pander

Laurel has been coaching most of her life, is a Certified Life Skills Instructor (L.S.I.) and a Certified Life Skills Coach (LSC).

In addition, Laurel has been a member of the ICF (International Coach Federation), IAC (International Association of Coaches), and a Founding Member of CoachVille and has actively participated on several boards, groups and committees for both the ICF and the IAC some of which have influenced setting new standards for the Coaching profession.

Laurel’s International clientele numbers in the hundreds, among them are several dozen professional Coaches, which makes Laurel the coaches’ Coach.

Laurel has received numerous awards including One of Vancouver’s “Top 20 Most Influential Women in Business” by a well-known Canadian newspaper publication Business in Vancouver and Women Entrepreneurs of Canada in 2002 and 2003.

Patrick von Pander

Patrick is a sought-after professional coach and Western Canada’s first Sales Force Coach, Sales Mentor, and a Certified Teleclass Leader, professional speaker, writer and trainer. He holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, and is a graduate of both the Thomas Leonard School of Coaching and the CoachVille Graduate School of Coaching.

Patrick has over 17 years’ “business to business” sales experience in the corporate marketplace.

Patrick is a founder of one of Canada’s top coaching practices that received several nominations by their Chamber of Commerce in their annual Awards of Excellence program.

Derek Wu

Derek is a skilled IT professional and an experienced instructor. He developed his career with SME's as well as Multinational organizations such as Drake International. Many years of working in vastly different business environments enabled Derek to handle and resolve problems and challenges
effectively.

Derek helps companies to improve productivity by using his expertise in infrastructure, network security and software development. He is a certified professional of Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Oracle, IBM Lotus and a full member of the Hong Kong Computer Society.

Derek is keen on applying IT in a way that fits businesses and boost productivity, such as making use of open source software to exploit technology economically, as well as innovate by combining IT training with the latest Corporate Learning methodologies.
